Ted Chikatilo is one of the antagonists in Danganronpa Gaiden: Killer Killer.
He is a homicidal serial killer who has a twisted fascinstion for creating explosive rockets and bombs to blow up/kill milions of people, whole also planning to murder Takumi Hijirihara as well.
Biography[]
Ted is known for creating bombs before killing people believing he is turning people into beautiful fireworks as the ultimate pyrotechnics. His most favorite method is by having bombs around people exploding them into bloody rains.
It's unknown if he was already evil before the tragedy, but when it came, he uses it as an advantage to practice his skills which cause anarchy leading him to become Future Foundation's most wanted while also gaining the name "Million Killer".
He is first seen shoving a bomb in the victim's mouth before throwing them when the timer reaches zero leading to a massive explosion, demonstrating how "beautiful" it is when blood starts raining down on him. He takes off his mask revealing a sinister smile before deciding to go after Killer Killer as his next target.
He uses the explosions to burst into the arena with raining blood and body parts around him before meeting Juzo, who was impersonating Ted in order to expose the serial killing gambling ring. He disguised himself in the crowd, mocking Juzo for his appearance before killing them to confront Takumi.
After escaping Juzo and his gang, he met Takumi, who complimented him after murdering one of Juzo's men Kenji Tsuruhashi. He then attempts to kill Takumi, but he manages to cut the firework in half before being mocked by him, leading to Ted making an illusory of a castle made of fireworks that he calls "beautiful".
He reveals that the castle he made has brainwashing effects, which prevent people from looking away, which is exactly what's happening to Takumi before subjecting Misaki by making a firework image of a bear and rabbit, leading to both of them getting brainwashed. Ted attempts to kill them before Takumi stops him by defecting his attack, while also destroying his images.
He realizes that Takumi was faking his brainwashing to keep his identity hidden from him before attacking him, only to go into a fit of rage when he realized that he is only 65 out of 100 for his murder ranks due to Takumi knowing that the only thing he cares for was his fireworks rather than the actual murders he committed.
Ted unleashes a barrage of fireworks, only for them to get deflected back at him before laughing insanely just from the thought of getting killed by his own fireworks before dying from the explosion.
