Officer Ted Johnson is a supporting antagonist in Trailer Park Boys. He is a police officer, like George Green, he often visits Sunnyvale and causes problems for the boys.
He is portrayed by Jim Swansburg.
Personality[]
He is always calm, self-control, and never raises his voice towards others. He tends to ask questions with another question, especially to Ricky. He talks in a very monotone and shows little expression on his face.
Biography[]
In the first season, he first appears approaching and asking questions to Ricky about anything going on in the park. On the wedding day, Ted arrives with other officers to arrest Ricky for robbing the grocery store and Julian, who shoots his gun off several times.
He reappears in the fifth season as George Green's replacement. In the sixth season, he gets into a relationship with Randy. But this ends after Ted's disappointment when Randy failed to attempt to put the Boys with stolen evidence. In the seventh season, he and George attempt to kill Lahey for declining to file a search warrant that would have implicated J-Roc and Julian for stealing luggage at the airport. They also tried to kill Randy and Phil Collins after they witnessed the attempted murder. Ray and the Boys helped Lahey frame George and Ted for police brutality, to which they are sentenced to five years in jail.
He returns in the eleventh season when Randy blackmails him with a video of him and Ted doing oral. Ted has also been gathering evidence to put George in jail for committing money laundering and insurance fraud. The in the twelfth season, when the Boys accidentally shoot a rocket into Steve Rogers' helicopter, Ted investigates the incident, calling it a terrorist attack.
