Teenage Kix is a corrupt team of superheroes and minor antagonists in the adult comic-book series The Boys.
Biography[]
Comics[]
All of the members of Teenage Kix made their first appearance in a group sex orgy when Hughie was spying on them. Their leader, Big Game, maintains sexual contact with his fellow teammates as Shout Out and Dogknott. Blarney Cock and Whack Job steal painkillers from a children's hospital, while Popclaw cuts herself.
Later, when Teenage Kix met The Boys, they started an attack on them. In the beginning, Big Game gets a headbutt from Billy Butcher. Mother's Milk hits Gunpowder hard enough to destroy his helmet; Frenchie kicked the Jetstreak right in the groin; and The Female lunged at Popclaw. Hughie was attacked by Shout Out, and Butcher told him to stay away from them and to deal with Blarney Cock. Butcher caught the departing Shout Out while Blarney Cock threatened Hughie. Hughie accidentally killed him, which was shocking for the Teenage Kix and The Boys. Shout Out tried to escape, electrocuting Butcher's face. Butcher, angered by this, pulled him to himself and tore the thumbs off his fingers. After this, Hughie found Blarney Cock's pet hamster, Herbie, who lived in his anus, and took him.
After that, the police showed up, and Butcher told the rest of The Boys to go while he explained to the police what had happened. The entire injured team showed up at Blarney Cock's funeral. Big Game started saying that Blarney was the best of them and that he and the team would miss him. The team never appeared in the comic again, and their future fate is unknown, except that Blarney Cock was resurrected and wanted to take revenge on Hugh for killing him and get his hamster back.
TV Series[]
In the TV series adaptation from Amazon, Big Game and Shout Out are mentioned by Butcher, who wants their files. Additionally, Gunpowder appears on television, saying that he had stopped the shooting and that if people were carrying guns, he wouldn't have to save them. Also, Mesmer and Sister Sage are former members of the team, just like A-Train. Big Game was mentioned again in Season 2 by Starlight, who mentioned that he played Pontius Pilate at a school play.
