Tendon is a minor antagonist in the anime/manga series Kinnikuman.

Tendon was originally a shrimp that was a piece of tempura, alongside his girlfriend Ebiko, that is accidentally given to Kinnikuman when he ordered some Gyudon. Kinnikuman hates tempura so he throws Tendon out of his house.
Tendon, feeling slighted by Kinnikuman, swears revenge on him. This is heard by Iwao who takes Tendon to Kinkotsuman to have him transformed into a giant kaiju that rushes off to kill Kinnikuman.
In order to lure Kinnikuman out, Tendon goes out to destroy Gyudon restaurants. This leads to Kinnikuman rushing out to stop the kaiju, however, Tendon keeps dodging his attacks and slaps him around, much to Kinnikuman's annoyance.
Tendon would use a special beam fired from his eyes at Kinnikuman, blinding him. Tendon would climb to the top of a building and leap off to stab Kinnikuman with his sharpened pincers, however, Kinnikuman would use his ears to figure out where Tendon is and dodge the attack before shooting a Kinniku Beam at him, defeating Tendon.
Tendon would revert back to his normal size and feel regretful for what he had done and request that Kinnikuman eat him. Kinnikuman does so, enjoying the piece of tempura.
Trivia[]
- In the anime, Tendon and his girlfriend Ebiko are renamed to Shrimpson and Shrimpette. The name Tendon is only used for Shrimpson's monstrous form.
- In the anime, Tendo's fate is changed to Kinnikuman releasing him and Ebiko into the ocean instead of eating him.
