Tenkyu is a major antagonist in the action-comedy manga series Sakamoto Days, serving as the main antagonist of the JAA Jail Arc.
Appearance[]
Tenkyu is a tall and muscular man with short and messy light green hair styled in a undercut. He typically wears a indigo eyepatch that covers his left eye. His left uncovered eye is pupiless and lilac while his right eye under the eyepatch is revealed to have a sinister hypnotizing look over large black rings. He wears nothing but a pair of teal short pants he stole from a inmate he killed.
Personality[]
Althought initially presented as a laidback, friendly, and playful man, Tenkyu has no sense of morality and does anything to achieve his goals. Shin and Heisuke initially did not think much of him but were immediately altered when Tenkyu tells them that he is on the search for Taro Sakamoto to kill him. When Shin attempted to convince Tenkyu that he is the fortune teller he is also searching for, Tenkyu is shown to be unfazed when he warned everyone that "misfortune" is about to come.
It became clear that Tenkyu is a lunatic psychopath when he further reveals his plan to kill Sakamoto's wife and daughter after being rejected by Uzuki for being way too dangerous despite following its beliefs, prompting Shin to abrutly punch Tenkyu with a punch in the face. Despite his laidback attitude, Tenkyu is shown many times to be very observant and clever. He questioned how Shin was able to figure the location of the one who controlled the laser who tried to kill them and quickly noticed Shin's weakness, that he was terrible at fighting. His brutal nature leads him to sadistically kill any people he might think, as well being a sadomasochist, as shown in his last scenes where he enjoys the pain of being slashed in the eye by Shin at the point of telling him that he is afraid to kill at the point of even mocking him.
Abilities[]
Master Archer: Tenkyu is very skilled at using a bow, capable of employing many method to kill his targets. This allows him to perform unusual ways to fire arrows, such as shooting at Heisuke with his feet from behind and enhance the power of an arrow he shoots by rolling the string of his bow around it. He can also use his bow's cord to cut almost anything, including people. He does so by either pulling back his cord just like when he fires an arrow, enough force to cut someone's head off or by detaching one end of the cord to use it as rope that is strong enough to make a blow on a human being´s abdomen and shoot any objects of fitting size as an arrow, such as a airsoft bullet or metal pipes. Enhanced Strength: Tenkyu is a very strong individual, easily able to stop one of the members of the Super Antlion Hell Brothers. attack with just the string of his bow. He also manages to bash Shin through a pair of three stone pillars over the JAA last floor after catapulting himself with its bow and destroy a floor that left Shin falling. Enhanced Speed and Reflexes: Tenkyu is shown to move at incredible reflexes. He was able to quickly react to one of the Super Antlion Hell Brothers attempting to attack him with his sword, and he was also able to move so fast that he was able to get onto the same man’s shoulder in an instant, surprising the man despite being directly in front of him, as well dodging a laser grid during the JAA´s cells corridors and deflect a airsoft bullet being fired by Heisuke with its bow.
Swimming Skills: Tenkyu manages to have incredible swimming skills after falling in the JAA´s last floor with Shin. Augumanted Eye: Tenkyu's right eye is depicted to have a fisheye lens and greatly increases its agility in order to locate much better its target to shot the arrows.

- His name means "Heavenly Bow" in Japanese, combined together with the words (天) (ten) and "bow" (弓) (kyu). Matching its character.
- It is unknown how old Tenkyu is, but he was around 17 years old when he went missing from the Al-Kamar Orphanage and giving the fact that the series is set 8 years later Tenkyu is possibly 25.
