The Tent Grumer is the main antagonist in episode 22 of Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger. He's a tent-themed Kurumaju from the Great Space Invasion Running Team Hashiriyan.
He is voiced by Satoru Ito.
History[]
The Tent Grumer made his first appearance after the Sanseater trios to crash into their camping activities as Itasha used the Ignition Key on one of the camper's tent. Upon his creation he used his ability as he manages to trap four campers within tents and begin to absorb some of the Ghassolin and with Boonboomger nowhere in sight within these woods means it harvest time. So with Senji's teacher sent him away to find some help only for her to be trapped within the tent herself.
Awhile later the Tent Grumer appeared in the woods as Taiya was on his delivering a box fireworks as he notices the commotion. So he tries to trap the two within sent only to be saved by Senji as he got trapped within the process. Taiya wants to help out, but Byundi will takes things from here so he has to take the kid out of the woods. The initial plan was to take his car, but is now preoccupied by the Sanseaters Trio as Itasha was taking Decotorade and Yaiyai Yaruka pictures, so they have no choice, but to hike through the woods and over the mountain back to the city.
A bit later as Taiya heads to the factory area to stop Cannonborg from torturing the campers, he was stop in his tracks as Tent Grumer is ready to face him and surprising Senji joins up as well since he'd manage to freed himself from the tent (probably he unzipped it from the inside). So once the duo transformed the battle was on as Tent Grumer begins to fire charcoal only for them to dodge it. He then proceeds to trap them both within a tent only to be sliced up, and then he used his Excitong and lobs a couple of fireball at the duo. He managed to scorched Senji in the process and then fired some energy beetles at Taiya who's trying to swat them away as if they were pesky flies and during the process Tent Grumer tries to trap Taiya once again, but thankfully Senji manages to destroy it. After Taiya used the Zoonzoom Shokablaster as he goes 119 and gives a beating towards the Tent Grumer. After sending the Tent Grumer flying in the air he was then brought down for the count with this finisher called Zoonzoom Overdrive.
After he was revived and enlarged by Yaiyai Yaruka, Cannonborg has something instore for the Nejirettas to help the Tent Grumer which would be the Big Nejiscrews that allows these footsoldiers to grow to giant size and to make matters worse he transformed one of the factory building into a campfire with the campers trapped inside as Tent Grumer set it on fire. Thankfully they manage to bring out a new mecha called Boonboom Leo, so with it (now as firetruck at first) not only did he manage to put out the fire and take out the giant Nejirettas, but manage to save the campers within the burning building. However the Tent Grumer wouldn't let them escape so he used his Excitong and starts shaking the building. Once the campers is out of the harms the firetruck now transformed into a robotic lion as the real battle begins. So as the Boonboom Leo climbs the heap Tent Grumer tries to stop it as he unleashes ring of fire from his face only for it to jump through it and then leaves a couple of slashes at the Tent Grumer. Once the rest of team arrived with their vehicles they manage to finish the Tent Grumer off with Bakuage Scramble, thus the tent was back to normal shredded into pieces from the attack.
