Tentacular is the main antagonist of the critically panned 2021 animated film Rumble. He is a monster wrestling champion and Rayburn Jr's archnemesis, the father of whom he is always compared to.
He has the appearance of a light blue biped half-shark half-octopus kaiju. He has three tentacles on each arm that he can form into whole arms and hands. There's also a fin on top of his shark-like head and dark blue spots all over his body.
Personality
Tentacular is presented as being an arrogant, egotistical, and self-centered individual, but this hides a darker, and malicious core. He is very envious of Rayburn as he feels that he'll always be compared to him no matter how many times he wins. He wants to destroy the Jimbo Coyle Stadium just to step out of his shadow, showing how he wanted to erase the very memory of Rayburn Sr. and Jimbo Coyle.
It is revealed that he's also sadistic, as he doesn't care about Winnie's feelings, saying it's all about him (Tentacular), demonstrating a blatant lack of gratitude to Winnie, who was the one to notice King Gorge's tell (where he licks his lips/nose before he'd strike) and inform Tentacular of it, leading to Tentacular's victory though he was afraid of others finding out about it when Winnie and Rayburn Jr. hinted at it during a press conference. Regardless, Tentacular cares for no one but himself, having no regard or decency for others, as he didn't care in the slightest about Stoker despite the town having supported him and shown him nothing but love and encouragement until he turned heel and betrayed them by announcing his intention to wrestle for Slitherpoole and leave Stoker without a monster which would cause them to become bankrupt without a monster wrestler representing them and their stadium.
Biography
Tentacular is one of the strongest in the world. He felt overlooked when seeing how powerful Rayburn Sr. was. After his death and title was moved, Tentacular saw a chance to take it. After winning it, he told the people in pubic he was moving to a different city, risking the reputation of the stadium.
While he left City he wrestling some wrestler monsters and still advantage winning anyway, When he on house he saw the news that Steve and Winnie he calling on Siggy his phone telling him he see this, he trying to doing his commercial his drink fail and try for several time and then Winnie and Steve show up and want to challenge King Gorge, but he revealed to everyone on game post that King Gorge is no longer wrestling to any monster anymore because he destroyed King Gorge's wrestling spirit and he tells Jimothy Brett-Chadley II to sign the papers and says to Winnie that's it isn't about the money and says that Jimbo Coyle Stadium is coming down because he want to. When Winnie ask why, he says because no matter how many times he wins championships some monsters always gonna tell him that he's not good as Rayburn so he realizes he could continue living in his Shadow or he can tear Stadium down who cast his shadow on him. When Steve says something, Tentacular grabs his neck and tells him makes him sick saying that dancing isn't wrestling and calls Steve pathetic. Winnie is worried about Steve and tells Tenteacular to let him go, but he ends up throwing him hard into the seats then Jimothy Brett-Chadley films Steve on his phone. Winnie begs Tentacular not to destroy the stadium, it's everything to the town and to her then Tentacular tells Winnie "this isn't about you it's all about me" that he doesn't care about the town or Stadium anymore so he says to Jimoth Brett-Chadley II sign the paper and left the Stadium.
After he was defeat by Rayburn Jr./Steve, he was taking away on an ambulance bed. It's unknown what happened to Tentacular afterwards, but it's likely that he was hospitalized for his injuries after the fight.
Powers and Abilities
Tentacular's main weapons are his tentacles. He can use them to streych and punch his opponents. He can also grab, twist and hold his oppenent while he's fighting.
Trivia
Tentacular is based on the character Noodles from the graphic novel Monster On The hill. Noodles went by the name of Tentacular, but he did not show any villainous traits in the novel.
