Tequila (テキーラ Tekīra?) is a minor antagonist in the Case Closed franchise. He was a Black Organization member who was killed by a bombing by accident. He worked in the external division on computer software related development related tasks, presumably by recruiting, dealing, and making exchanges with programmers.
Tequila was described by Conan as a giant dressed in black, like most members of the Organization. He had a long, square face, brown, shoulder-length hair and a brown mustache.
Personality[]
He showed no consideration for other people. So he hit Conan when he shows up near him and asks him for a favor.
Tequila spoke in a Kansai dialect.

Background[]
Tequila had contacts with Suguru Itakura and was particularly interested in a system software. When Itakura told him about his failing eyesight, Tequila left his house. He told him that he had no more use for him. Nevertheless, he was shadowed by the organization for weeks and was supposed to develop the software.
Tequila used to date Hideaki Nakajima at the cocktail bar in the BigBlack building. Tequila asked for a list of the world's top computer programmers, which Nakajima brought with him on a floppy disk. Both discussed the price.
Game Company Murder Case[]
Tequila is on behalf of the organization at a presentation of a new video game. There he trades a briefcase with Nakajima, whom he has met several times. In a clash in the men's room, the two manage to exchange their keys to the previously checked-in suitcases, so Tequila will later pick up Nakajima's suitcase number 98 with the floppy disk inside.
A little later, Tequila accepts the briefcase without knowing that Hironobu Takeshita has previously exchanged it for one prepared with a bomb. After the deal is successful, he goes to a phone and reports success to Vodka. In the evening he wanted to be with them again. Shortly thereafter, he realizes that Conan dropped his wallet and urges Vodka to do something about his high blood pressure. When Conan points out that he is standing on a 10 yen piece of his, Tequila kicks him aside and leaves the room.
When Tequila goes into the bathroom to look at the contents of the suitcase, it explodes, killing him. Actually, Hideaki Nakajima was supposed to be the victim of this attack.
