~ Terminator Peter. |
Terminator Peter is a minor antagonist in Family Guy. A Terminator-inspired parody of Peter Griffin from the year 2060, invented by Stewie Griffin with the intent of killing Lois Griffin. However, due to meddling from Brian Griffin, he has since turned on Stewie and redirected his goal toward killing him.
He was voiced by Seth MacFarlane.
Biography[]
In "PeTerminator", Terminator Peter time travels to the year 2021, where it breaks into The Drunken Clam, while present-day Peter Griffin is in the bathroom. There, he takes Cleveland's gun and uses it to kill Ernie the Giant Chicken so that he can steal his motorcycle and leather clothes and drive off with it.
The next day, in the Griffin houshold, Stewie Griffin gets mad at Lois Griffin for forcing him to eat broccoli and swears revenge on her, so he draws up plans to make a terminator robot based on Peter Griffin. However, it will be a while before he can actually make it because the technology he requires is decades ahead of his time.
Terminator Peter meets up with the real Peter Griffin, who is too stupid to know this is a robot clone of himself. Peter befriends Terminator Peter and they go to a karaoke bar, where they sing songs and party.
Terminator Peter finally makes it to the Griffin house, where Stewie recognizes him from his blueprints. Brian Griffin wonders how this is possible if the technology is ahead of its time and Stewie says that Terminator Peter must have time traveled back to 2021 to find them. Terminator Peter breaks into the house and tries to strangle Stewie to death, but gets distracted by a Tilda Swinton movie on TV, allowing for Stewie and Brian to escape.
Stewie and Brian ride off on Stewie's tricycle, while Terminator Peter chases after them in an electric wheelchair he stole from Joe. During the chase, Terminator Peter tries to kill them with a gun, but eventually ends up sliding in a puddle and crashing underneath a bridge, where he falls on some fire, causing an explosion that destroys him completely.
In true Terminator fashion, Terminator Peter regenerates and continues his mission to kill Stewie Griffin on foot.
Trivia[]
- Terminator Peter is a parody of the T-800 and the T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Terminator Peter parodies and references many scenes and signature moments, which include:
- Its appearance resembles the T-800 that acts as John Connor's protector. Rather than be portrayed as the hero, it instead acts as an antagonistic force, like the T-1000, with the goal to kill Stewie Griffin.
- The motorcycle that Terminator Peter uses is the same as what the T-800 used to chase down the T-1000 in the truck chase scene.
- As it followed Stewei Griffin, it reloads its shotgun by twisting it around the finger, similarly like the T-800 when it was shooting the T-1000's truck.
- Once Terminator Peter's and its motorcycle crashes into the bridge, its motorcycle explodes, while Terminator Peter emerges out of the fiery explosion, as it regenerates itself at the same time. The scene parodies the T-800 shooting the T-1000's truck, causing it to crash and explode on the bridge. As the fiery explosion blazes on, the T-1000 emerges out, while it regenerates itself.
- As Terminator Peter walks out of the fire, it starts to hum the main theme of the T-800 in a comical manner.
