Skully is a supporting antagonist in Snowfall.

Skully is a main antagonist in Franklin Saint storyline during season 4 and 6 and then he becomes an ally. He is played by De'aundre Bonds.

Biography

Skully, born and raised in Inglewood, California, is a notorious gang leader and a key figure in the Los Angeles drug trade. He initially rose to prominence as an associate, business partner, and fierce rival of Manboy. Skully was first introduced during a tense negotiation with Manboy, Leon, and Fatback, where he shockingly revealed his violent tendencies by holding a hostage in his bathroom. Despite his volatile nature, he agreed to a deal to become business partners with Franklin Saint.

Leading a crew of Bloods in the Bottoms neighborhood, Skully's rivalry with Manboy was mitigated only by their mutual ties to Khadijah Brown and their shared grief over the death of Tianna, Skully’s daughter. Tianna’s murder, meant as a hit on Skully, deeply affected him and further strained his alliances. His real name came to light in the episode "Expansion," when Leon and Fatback hired an investigator to track him down.

Tragedy struck again when Jerome Saint killed Khadijah, sending Skully into a rage-filled spiral. He stormed Franklin’s house, wounding Alton but sustaining a severe gunshot wound himself. Despite nearly bleeding to death, Skully survived and resurfaced, transforming both his personal life and gang leadership. He began quoting Bible verses, converting his gang into a quasi-religious sect, and adopting a more spiritual outlook while maintaining a foothold in the drug trade.

Skully's unpredictable nature reemerged when a pricing dispute led him to brutally punish Cornrows by slicing off his ear. This act ignited dissent within his ranks, with Mello plotting a coup. However, Jerome and Louie exposed Mello's betrayal, and in a violent display of loyalty and dominance, Skully killed Mello by snapping his neck. Afterward, Skully returned to his business dealings with Jerome and Louie, maintaining order and control over his operations.

Known for his blend of brutality, spirituality, and cunning, Skully remains a formidable figure in the dangerous world of Los Angeles crime.
