“ | Fabulous! The moment has finally arrived after so very, very long! Oh, my foolish and fumbling lord! You've released me! I'm free as a bird!! (Wario: Tiaramisu?! What are you...) Yes, m'lord! It IS me! Or is it?! I sort of fibbed about my name, you see. It's not Tiaramisu. I'm not that sweet. It's Terrormisu! Fear me you fools! I simply must thank you for releasing me! Or should I say... unleashing me! What a perfect gentleman you've been, helping me ever since Sweatmore Peak! | „ |
~ Terrormisu revealing herself |
Terrormisu, also passing off as a young lady called Tiaramisu prior to her battle, is one of the two main antagonists (alongside Count Cannoli) of the Nintendo DS video game Wario: Master of Disguise.
She is an ancient demoness from another dimension who hides her true identity under the guise of Tiaramisu, a fawning and seemingly harmless assistant to Wario. She manipulates the latter into collecting the five Wishstone tablets so she can wreak havoc throughout the game, showing her true colors after deceiving him and being freed from which she was sealed many years ago.
Appearance[]
Terrormisu has several forms. Her general form is a humanoid figure similar to Princess Peach except with dark brown eyes but perfectly matching blonde hair. As a human, she wears an eye mask and Geisha dress. She has other forms that make her even more powerful, such as a giant version of her normal form and three room forms in which she forces which Wario to battle with her.
Personality[]
First introduced as Tiaramisu, she is envisioned as a beautiful servant to Wario, often addressing him as "m'lord" and having hints of being infatuated. It is but a well-thought-out disguise to trick Wario and stay near him.
When her true identity is finally revealed, the personality of Terrormisu does a complete about-face. She becomes confident to the point of overbearing arrogance, manipulative, and flat-out evil. Her real nature, as an ancient demoness, is now unleashed with no regrets.
However, Special Episode 5 confirms that she indeed has a crush on Wario, even if it's one-way. She's also incredibly vain and can't stand insults; she zaps Carpaccio for calling her a "she-fiend".
Biography[]
Past[]
There once was an extremely old and extremely wealthy pharaoh named Poobah who wished to have one wish granted to him, even though he basically had everything he needed. In the process, he conjured up a demon from another dimension named Terrormisu who would grant his wish. She would have done so, however, only if he starved his people; he had agreed to this, intent that his wish should come true, but instead she tricked him, stole all his riches, and left his kingdom to fall into ruin. Then there was the great wizard called Cannoli the First, who rolled up and, with his powers, locked up Terrormisu into this Wishstone, and then dispersed it into pieces all over the earth, that a perpendicular evil such as Terrormisu could not again arise.
Assistance to Wario[]
In Episode 7, "Fouling up the Whole Works", Wario goes to Sweatmore Peak, a volcano, after Count Cannoli told him that he would meet him there. Instead, he meets a strange beautiful woman named Tiaramisu. She tells him that if he finds the Sweatmore Hotpants, he'll be able to venture further into the volcano, and tells him to be careful.
Later, in Episode 8 "When Dophins Ruled the Earth", she helps assist Wario while he is battling the tyrant of Blowhole Castle, Stuffy the Dolphin. She also helps Wario by telling him he needs a missing soul to unlock a door in Blowhole Castle.
All of this helping is entirely in vain, however, as at the end of Episode 8, she states that her current power couldn't take her any further, so she ceases to assist Wario hereon. This is her last appearance before the final battle, not considering pre-battle cutscenes.
Reveal[]
In Episode 10, which takes place in Allergia Gardens, (pun on the word Allergic) Wario finds all five Wishstones, and puts them together. He is shocked, as a fully formed Wishstone reveals Tiaramisu, who reveals to Wario than not only is she a demon, but also her true identity: none other than Terrormisu.
While Carpaccio is on the ground, Terrormisu repeatedly strikes him with lightning, which demonstrates that she contains a lot of old past hatred towards Carpaccio and his family.
Goodstyle then reads the true horrific story of the Wishstone. Long ago, there was a king named Poobah the Pharaoh, who, despite all his wealth wanted a wish, so he called forth Terrormisu, which demanded he starve his people as a sacrifice. Phoobah agreed, but Terrormisu never granted his wish, with his pyramid being sunk under the sand, as a result. Later, a sly man who is later revealed to be Goodstyle woos the Demon, and seals her in the 5 Wishstones.
Terrormisu in battle[]
Since Terrormisu is a demon, she is a very powerful and very formidable villain in battle. She has three forms: Sad, Happy, and Rage.
Phase 1: Sad Form[]
Terrormisu conjures up balls of energy in her sad form, and as Wario continues to hit her, the balls of energy last longer. Using genius form, if you don't see the red ball out of the four total balls, then she shoots some sort of explosive at you. It takes five easy hits on her weak spot (if Wario goes into his Captain form) to beat her.
Phase 2: Happy Form[]
In her Happy Form, Terrormisu shoots lasers at Wario. Three Happy faces must be shot by Cosmic Wario and they must bounce off and hit all of the heads. Spikes appear out of the ground shortly after you hit Terrormisu once. Her happy form takes five hits.
Final Phase: Rage Form[]
This is by far her trickiest form. She shoots lots of fireballs at you, and causes a wall of fire to go towards you if you strike her with Dragon Wario. It takes 5 hits to defeat her in this form.
Wario then breaks her smiling façade, revealing her true face: which looks the same but with a reasonably disgruntled expression. With her true face now literally revealed, Wario then strikes Terrormisu one last time where it goads the devilish tyrantess the most in order to defeat her. Now utterly humiliated and further losing composure at her defeat, Terrormisu flees back to her dimension after Wario beats her.
