Stop hand

Run and hide, asshole. Run and hide. If you should be picked up next week buying a hundred-thousand dollar sports car in Newport Beach, I am going to be supremely disappointed. Because I want my people to find you, and when they do, rest assured we're not gonna hand you over to the police. So my advice to you again is this: run and hide. That is all that I ask.
~ Benedict threatening Rusty.

Terry Benedict is the main antagonist of the Ocean's trilogy. An exceptionally successful casino owner, Terry owns and operates The Bellagio, The Mirage, and The MGM Grand casinos, with a networth of over 250,000,000$. While amicable and not appearing to be seemingly villainous, Benedict is very malevolent towards those who have wronged him, with other prominent denizens of Vegas knowing he's willing to have people killed among other crimes. He is the archenemy of Daniel Ocean.

He was played by actor Andy Garcia, who also played Vincent Corleone in the Godfather Part III.

Personality[]

On the outside, Terry is a serious but cordial man. He is courteous, respectful, and very friendly towards the high rollers of his casinos. He is also a committed lover, always putting time aside for his girlfriend and is protective of her as well. However, deep down, money is more important to him than Tess, as seen when he willingly traded her away in order to get his stolen money back.

That being said, when someone crosses him, Benedict is an incredibly dangerous man. His acts of vengeance include but are not limited to; Murder, torture, kidnapping, malice and financial sabotage. After dealing directly with those who have wronged him, he does not stop there, as Reuben puts it, "He'll kill ya, and then he'll go to work on ya!" A man who was once caught stealing from him, after the man was sent away to prison, Benedict had his family's house seized by the bank, and bankrupted his brother in law's company, eliminating the man's family's ability to make ends meet.
