The Anesthetist is a minor antagonist in the 1995 horror video game I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream, based on the 1967 short story of same name by the late Harlan Ellison.
Biography[]
The Anesthetist appears only in Nimdok's scenario of AM's game, as an assistant to Nimdok, eager to watch the man conduct a surgery on a young boy. Nimdok has the opportunity to use the scalpel on him instead of the child to murder him, an event necessary to go for the good ending of the game.
Appearance[]
The Anesthetist is an old man of german nationality, who wears a white lab coat over a blue dress shirt and yellow tie. He has glasses and grey hair, along with green pants and black shoes.
