It was voiced by the late Terry Brain.
Biography[]
"Breakfast Time"[]
Berk opens the trap door to collect ingredients to make breakfast for The Thing Upstairs when the Big Yellow Thing comes out and devours the meal, much to Berk's dismay. As he tries to get the Big Yellow Thing to leave, the Big Red Thing emerges from the trap door, as Berk accidentally left it open.
The Big Red Thing goes on a rampage and trashes the cellar before chasing Berk. It pursues him to a cupboard where Berk hides behind a mirror. Looking in the mirror, the Big Red Thing is terrified by its own reflection and flees, jumping back down the trap door.
"Don't Open That Trap Door"[]
The monsters from the series, including the Big Red Thing, emerge from the trap door to dance with Berk to the full version of the series' theme.
"Bye Bye Berk"[]
The monsters, including the Big Red Thing, cause havoc in the cellar as Berk foolishly left the trap door open whilst cleaning. Fed up with his lifestyle, Berk decides to leave the castle, but decides to return. Even with the monsters running amok, he states unbothered that the castle was his home.
"The Big Red Thing"[]
The Big Red Thing once again emerges from the trap door for revenge and attacks Berk and Boni. Rogg emerges from the trap door to investigate the noise before the Big Red Thing smacks his head and flees the castle. Angered, Rogg pursues the Big Red Thing outside of the castle where the two get in a brutal clash. The Big Red Thing ultimately defeats Rogg and disappears. Assuming Rogg was dead, Berk and Boni mourn him.
However, Rogg is revealed to be still alive, having merely fainted from the clash. They all rejoice until Berk questions where the Big Red Thing went. Suddenly, the Big Red Thing emerges behind them and roars before the screen fades to black, leaving the ending ambiguous.
