The Black Vale are major lore antagonists in the multiplayer game Dead by Daylight. They are a fanatical cult that worship The Entity and seem to pull various strings in the shadows of the world.
History[]
It isn’t exactly stated when The Black Vale was founded but they are known to have existed as far back as 17th century France. Where a pair of conjoined twins were sold to them for various rituals. In the modern day, The Black Vale continues to operate in the shadows pulling various strings around the world, one such example being their artist label which they use to spread various messages and silence anyone who steps out of line and defies them, one such example being Carmina Mora who was kidnapped by the Cult alongside her friends when she spoke out against them, and subsequently tortured by having her hands and tongue removed.
