The Unnamed Boss of Kkangpae is a major antagonist in Grand Theft Auto Online, he serves as the main antagonist of the Los Santos Summer Special update.
He is the false owner of food cold storage Fridgit, and a member of Puerto Del Sol Yacht Club, meanwhile, he is the notorious leader of South Korean gang known as Kkangpae.
Biography[]
The unnamed boss of Kkangpae is a member of the Puerto Del Sol Yacht Club and owns ten sailboats and a Galaxy Super Yacht. He and his gang uses the Fridgit cold storage to store their temperature-sensitive products.
In 2020, the Kkangpae invaded the protagonist's yacht and stole the documents, which classify the protagonist and captain Brendan Darcy as "permanent residents of international waters". The protagonist locates the thieves in the Vespucci Canals, kills them and retrieve the documents. Brendan informs the protagonist that they were part of the Puerto Del Sol Yacht Club, in retaliation, Brendan tells the protagonist head to the yacht club and sink their boats. The protagonist destroys and sinks the boats belonging to the boss, who tracks down the protagonist's phone and constantly issued a bounty on their heads.
Later, the boss orders his henchmen to invade the protagonist's yacht. The boss sends a phone message to the protagonist about the yachts he destroyed who belonged to him. After eliminating all of the hijackers, the protagonist will receive a phone call from an Kkangpae member, but Brendan will be on the other end of the line, explaining that he and the bartender have been taken hostage by the Kkangpae as revenge for destroying their yachts. The protagonist finds the captain and the bartender, killed the kidnappers and takes the hostages back to the yacht.
Brendan informs the protagonist that he has formulated a revenge plan on the Kkangpae for kidnapping him. The player must head to the Fridgit Cold Storage warehouse in Cypress Flats and destroy air-conditioning units that are being used to keep the gang's temperature sensitive product cold. Then, when the units are destroyed, the player is to steal product that is prepared to be delivered and deliver it themselves. A few time after stealing and selling the Kkangpae's boss' products, the protagonist's yacht is once again attacked by the Kkangpae using Buzzard Attack Choppers. Once the yacht's anti-aircraft systems are activated, they will give up attacking the yacht.
Brendan informs the protagonist that the boss is staying on a defended yacht, but Brendan has set up a way to sneak past their defenses using a Kraken submersible, which the protagonist must head to. Once on the boss' yacht, the protagonist will face multiple enemies. When all enemies onboard have been killed, the Boss will attempt to board a helicopter and escape. The protagonist chases down the helicopter, which is being escorted by two other helicopters. After the helicopter is destroyed and the boss is killed, Brendan will exclaim that they should collect the bounty that was on his head.
