The Butcher is a minor antagonist in Eli Roth's 2005 torture porn film Hostel. He is an employee of Elite Hunting who is responsible for destroying the bodies of the club's victims.

He was portrayed by Josef Bradna.

Biography

Paxton Rodriguez, after escaping from the German Surgeon, hides from Elite Hunting's guards on the butcher's body cart. The butcher wheels the cart into the lift, then out into a room where the body of Paxton's friend Josh (who was killed by the Dutch Businessman) is lying on a table and several knives and axes can be seen on the wall.

The butcher then removes a body from the cart, puts it on the table and begins chopping it up. After incinerating the pieces in the next room, he comes back and removes another body, in the process dropping Paxton's severed fingers to the floor. The butcher dismembers the second body with a power tool, before turning round and picking up Paxton's fingers before they can be re-attached.

He then takes a tray containing the second body's remains into the next room, and is followed by Paxton. The butcher begins loading the remains into the incinerator before Paxton attacks him and kills him by hitting him on the head with a sledgehammer.
