The Corinthian is the secondary antagonist of Season 1 of the 2022 Netflix TV series The Sandman, based on Neil Gaiman's comic book series of the same name.
He is a nightmare created by Dream of the Endless who wishes to roam the earth to freely prey on humans and seeks to destroy his creator.
He is portrayed by Boyd Holbrook.
Personality[]
The Corinthian is a cold and calculating sadist who holds a deep resentment towards his creator Dream and is eager to see him destroyed so that he can do as he pleases in the waking world. He is rather charismatic and capable of putting on a charming facade in an effort to manipulate others best seen with Jed Walker to whom he acted extremely kind so the boy would trust him. He reveals in his final moments that the reason he loves to feed on humans so much is so that he can feel what it's like to be a human.
