The Tiandao Council, better known as the Ten Sols, and later the Nine Sols after Yi's presumed death at the hands of the Council's leader, Eigong, are the titular main antagonists of Red Candle Games' 2024 Metroidvania video game Nine Sols.

They are a group of scientists that intended to use their resources to expand their legacy, with some hoping to benefit the world with their scientific achievements. After the Tianhuo disease spread, however, they began researching a cure. The newest member and main protagonist, Yi, proposed an idea called the Eternal Cauldron Project, which would put all surviving Solarians into Soulscape pods crafted by Lady Ethereal, with the intention of keeping everyone asleep until a cure could be crafted. While a good idea in theory, various factors, such as the unstable Soulscape pods, greed from certain members, and ignorance from others, all led to the Eternal Cauldron Project failing.

It was here that Eigong began to lose her sanity slightly, resulting in Yi attempting to confront her. Eigong struck Yi down, and he was presumed to be dead, although he really survived the attack and plotted his revenge 500 years later, leading to the main events of the story.
