The Crimson Dread is a minor antagonist in God of War Ragnarök.

It is a dragon monster that can be fought in Vanaheim while on the quest to save Birgir.

History

It's reputation precedes it, as the name Crimson Dread implies massive carnage. In Vanaheim, Kratos can encounter and fight it alongside his companion at the time. However, the God of War is much stronger than the beast and defeats it.

Appearance

The dragon is large, with horns. It has orange wings and yellow eyes.

Abilities/Powers

• Flight: As a dragon, the Crimson Dread is capable of flying with its wings.
• Fire Magic: The dragon attacks Kratos with fire attacks, implying is has some sort of fire magic capabilities.
