Mile Jurkovic, better known as "The Croat", is a major antagonist in AMC's The Walking Dead: Dead City. He serves as the secondary antagonist of Season 1, and one of the two secondary antagonists of Season 2.
He is a former interrogator for the Saviors who later forms The Burazi in Manhattan, New York City.
He is portrayed by Željko Ivanek, who also played Andre Drazen in 24, Mark Jennings in Tex, Phillip Swann in Law & Order, Everett Drake in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Arthur Grable in The X-Files, James Devlin in Oz, and Cordell Doemling in Hannibal.

Background[]
Not much is known about Mile's life before the outbreak except that he grew up in Croatia. He eventually had a family, consisting of his wife named Mila, his two daughters named Nika and Hana, and one son named Filip. He was also a scientist who specialized in alternate energy resources.
Eventually, Mile and his family moved to the United States.
Post-Apocalypse[]
Early in the outbreak, Mile and his family took shelter in a post office. While Mile was out scavenging for food, his entire family were devoured by another starving family.
Sometime afterward, he met Negan Smith.
