The Crow Gorg, or simply Gorg, is a major antagonist in the Stephen King and Peter Straub collaboration, Black House. He is a large black crow used by Mr. Munshun in order to assist in kidnapping children from the real world.
Gorg is a large black crow with the ability to speak English. Gorg is used by Mr. Munshun in order to help kidnap children and bring them into the End-World, which is where he lives. Gorg has a keen ability to manipulate others, as shown when he was able to manipulate one of the victims parents into leading a violent mob against a falsely-accused man.
In terms of Gorg's personality, not much is known other than it is somewhat sentient. Gorg is said to like fire not because it keeps him warm, but because it burns things.
Biography[]
Gorg first appears to Tyler out of a Greenery shortly after being summoned by Mr. Munshun. He caught Tyler's attention because he said Tyler's name and other words that the boy recognized. Gorg was able to lure Ty towards a bush, where once he got close enough, he (Tyler) was kidnapped by Charles Burnside.
Later on, Gorg appeared during a woman named Judy's dream. After she woke up, she was able to piece together that the Crow's name was Gorg, and she began to talk in a tone that sounded like the crow.
Gorg reappears physically on the doormat of a woman named Tansy, whom was high on drugs. He walked into her house and after a while began talking to her, convincing her that he knew who killed her child. Once Tansy trusted the crow, she allowed it to whisper into her ear. Tansy would later go on to describe not only had the crow tricked her into believing that an innocent man had killed her child, but also that it had described the world it had came from.
Gorg is last seen outside of the Black House, where Jack Sawyer fired at him and killed him. After being killed, they cursed the bird and kicked his corpse into some underbrush.

Gorg's name means death in the "Language of the Dead".
Gorg's voice could be heard cawing through a 911 tape before his final physical appearance.
