The DNA DIktators are the main antagonists of the DC Esleworld's comic Superman: At Earth's End.
History[]
The story begins decades after ww2 where some scientists in a cloning program, decided to to have as one of their many clones they made to make 2 of hitler. They made 2 copies of the infamous german dictator both completely identical to the original in every way.
Soon afterwards, the hitler clones turned on their makers, suceeding at doing so. At around the same time an evil genocidal a.i called mother machine decided to start exterminating humanity. This benefited the hitler clones as it forced thousands of people to travel down undergound where their base was at. The Hitler clones saw this oportunity and decided to ressurect the third reich by capturing all those thousands of people and performing horrifying experiments and surgeries on them.
As a result of the above named experiments, many people got turned into mutilated broken shells of themselves, little more than zombies walking around in constant pain, essentialy using them as cattle to experiment on. When one person can't be experimented on any longer, the hitler clones grind their bodies to paste and use them as raw material to make monsterous nazi stormtrupers to serve them and capture more people for the clones to experiment on or to just kill resistance. Said capture for experimentation is something that they attempted to do to hundreds of children, with the kids escaping and forming a gang in gotham city.
The Hitler clones afterwards defiled batman's grave and robbed his corpse stealing it and using his dna to create bat monsters loyal to them, sending them out to capture and kill people, which they of course also sent after the children gang.
Superman, who just arrived in Gotham city and encounters the kid gang decides to help them rescue their parents. He helps break into the dna dictator's lair...only to see the horrific fate that has beffalen the parents of those kids. It is only then where he meets the Hitler clones face to face, who imediately order everyone there killed.
Superman, even if mostly depowered due to the radiation of the post apocalyptic earth saves the kids by defeating the stormtroopers. The Hitler clones after seeing how strong superman change their aproach by "condemning their men for trying to kill inocnent children", depsite them being the ones that gave the order and ask for superman to join them in supremacy, with them allowing him and the kids to escape without resistance for him to think of their offer.
However, the above affability is soon revealed to have been a trick, as they imeidately unleash hordes of mutated monsters to hunt after superman and the kids, because they know he won't ever take up their offer. The final monster they sent after Superman is a bat mutant who's body is the long dead bruce wayne's and has all of batman's memories. The bat monster puts up a great fight against his former friend, but Superman manages to defeat it.
Not accepting defeat, the Hitler clones grab tommy guns and manage to fataly injure superman, gloating about how they will restart their experiments first with the children and then the world, in order to finaly bring forth the "Master race".
Superman manages to stand back up and with the last of his strength proceeds to kill the hitler clones, finanlly putting an end to his reign of terror.
Personality[]
The twin clones of Adolf Hitler showcase a personality almost identical to that of the WW2 german dictator, as they are driven by a desire to create the "Master Race" and feel nothing but contempt and genocidal hatred to those they see as inferior or those who try to stop them.
They are shown to be experts in experimentation and manipulation as they managed to capture thousands of people and horrificlaly experiment on them as a means to create nazi mutant stormtroopers in order to hunt down incoent people, children included.
The hitler clones seem to have a strategic mind, as after seeing how strong superman is, they seemingly show affability by allowing him to escape, only to then imediately release hordes of their mutant monsters to hunt after him.
By the end, they seem to show sadistic relish as they force superman to fight against a mutated and undead batman, who has all of bruce's memories, forcing superman to put his former friend down. Not accepting their defeat, they attempt to kill superman by shooting at his now almost completely depowered body, fataly injuring him, but costing them their lives, as superman kills them both.
The final thoughts of the two being shock and denial of their plan for the "master race" being thwarted.
