"The Dama", real name unknown, is the main antagonist AMC's The Walking Dead: Dead City. She is a former theatre critic in Manhattan who is a high ranking member of the Burazi. She serves as the main antagonist of Season 1 and one of the two main antagonists of Season 2 (alongside Bruegel).
She is portrayed by Lisa Emery, who also portrayed Darlene Snell in Ozark.
Biography[]
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Before the apocalypse, the Dama was a well-renowned theatre critic living in Manhattan. She had the power to make or break careers, dictated culture for decades, and basically ran the city.
Post-Apocalypse[]
When the outbreak began, the Dama settled in the King Francis Theatre. Eventually, she met a man named Mile, who had collapsed while searching the theatre. The Dama tended to Mile and helped to bring out his full potential. She remained as one of Mile's allies after he formed the Burazi, helping him to organize the gang while also forming alliances with the other gangs in Manhattan.

The Dama finds her pet rat dead on the floor and suspects Mile of killing him. Following an altercation with Mile, the Dama was knocked backwards by her subordinate, causing her to knock over a table of candles, setting a nearby rug on fire while a metal clothing rack falls on top of her. She tried calling to Mile for help, but he leaves her to die in the ensuing fire.
However, the Dama survives and eventually finds Hershel.
