The Giant Deadly Mantis is the main antagonist of the 1957 American horror film The Deadly Mantis.
Biography[]
The mantis appears as a giant praying mantis and has super strength and other powers.
The mantis will cause massive damage and kill several people, the army will try to kill it but will only succeed after throwing a chemical bomb at the mantis' face.
Col. Joe Parkman will be the man who throws the bomb at the mantis killing it and saving the world from it.
The mantis is a simple brutal and destructive monster with no real purpose that kills anything that comes at it, has no real personality and obviously will never speak during the movie, other than making sounds.
