The Devil
The Devil is a symbolic character that appears in the god-simulator franchise known as Black & White: he represents the "evil" half of the player's mind and is in opposition with the "good" half of the player's mind (which is envisioned as a small bearded man).
The Devil is envisioned as a red-skinned demon or imp and has a malicious personality, he tries to guide the player along the path of evil and encourages them to use their godly powers to benefit themselves rather than their followers.
The Devil will still aid the player even if they choose to be a "good" or "neutral" god but he is most of the time at home when the player acts evil - depending on how a player acts they may become an evil god (technically a demon) or a good god and although it is difficult, one can also become a neutral being.
