Stop hand

The Entity, also known as The Creature, and by its pawn Amanda the Adventurer, is the main antagonist of the Amanda the Adventurer franchise.

He is a powerful and ruthless demon who was summoned by Hameln Entertainment and locked up together with Amanda and Wooly in their fictional world. It's the one in control of Amanda, forcing her to capture people in its world to become more powerful. Originally, it was widely believed this was the monstrous form of Amanda that she took whenever she was heavily distressed. However, it is actually a separate creature that is closely tied to Amanda, but not directly her in full. In the sequel, as can be shown, it is similar to a wild animal that apparently attacks those whom it supposes are causing distress to Amanda or 'will cause' distress, and slightly follows the wishes of Amanda if she intervenes in its attacks. It is very aggressive, however; Amanda has to insist that it give up on a target.

Appearance[]

The Entity is a tall, humanoid creature with long arms and legs and grey skin. On its face, it has white clumps that look like eyes, but could possibly be some kind of fungus. It has uneven sharp teeth, it has round black horns similar to Amanda's hair. It is severely emaciated, as it's ribs, pelvis, humeri, femurs and tibias can be seen in the skin.

Personality[]

The Entity is an untamed and hostile being, exhibiting a level of ferocity that is both alarming and unsettling. Beyond its primal aggression, there is a disturbing suggestion that it possesses a certain degree of consciousness or awareness. This implies that it takes a twisted pleasure in inflicting pain and suffering on Amanda and its other unfortunate victims, reveling in the torment it causes. Furthermore, its behavior indicates a deep-seated frustration when it is unable to fulfill its lethal intentions towards Riley. This is particularly evident in a moment when Amanda informs the Entity that Riley had assisted her; in response, the creature reacts violently, slamming its fists against the ground in a display of rage and discontent. This reaction not only underscores its emotional capacity but also hints at the possibility of negotiation or reasoning with the Entity, albeit with considerable reluctance on its part. Despite its violent nature, it becomes clear that there are boundaries to its aggression, suggesting a complex interplay between its ferocity and its capacity for understanding.

He is also shown to have a fear of the Wooly entity.

History[]

Much about the creature itself, such as its origins are unknown. However, it is widely believed that this entity is the result of the bizarre and cult-like experiments conducted by Hameln Entertainment on Rebecca Colton. These experiments, which likely delved into the darker aspects of human psychology and manipulation, seem to have birthed this creature, intertwining its existence with that of Amanda in her show. The connection between the creature and Amanda, alongside Rebecca, results in a disturbing intertwining of their fates. This link imposes a cursed quality upon the show and its recorded tapes, creating a foreboding atmosphere that poses a significant threat to anyone who dares to watch. Viewers are not merely passive consumers of entertainment; they become embroiled in a perilous situation where their safety is compromised, and they risk falling victim to the sinister implications of the creature's presence.

If Riley Park decides not to assist the vulnerable kitten in the narrative of "What's a Family?", or regardless of how they respond to Amanda's inquiry in "Everything Rots!", there are dire consequences. In both scenarios, an ominous presence manifests itself as a monstrous figure within their household. This creature makes its way into the attic, where a tragic turn of events unfolds, ultimately leading to the untimely demise of Riley. The implications of Riley's choices are profound, suggesting that neglecting those in need can result in unforeseen and catastrophic outcomes.

In the sequel it shows up again this time serpantly from Amanda and trying to kill Riley for displeasing her,

Trivia[]

  • It was thought to be Amanda the Adventurer’s true form, but the sequel reveals that is not the case.
  • It is also shown that another entity appears in the sequel resembling a large demonic version of Wooly, suggesting that two of the three demons are able to come into the real world after being summoned.
    • Although this is thought to be one of the other forms of the demon. This was not the case as the demon wooly's roar was heard by the entity causing it to flee.
    • Amanda refers to the entity as the man with the headphones, which is a diminutive of "him," implying that despite taking Amanda's form, they are of totally opposite genders.
