The Eremites are one of the major antagonistic groups in open world role-playing video game Genshin Impact. They are the group of people with majority hails from Sumeru's desert region. Most of them are mercenaries by trade & conduct business across Teyvat. They are the only authorized military organization in Sumeru.
List of Known Eremite Factions[]
Tanit[]
A nomadic Eremite tribe led by Matriarch Babel Tanit located in Tanit Camps in Desert of Hadramaveth. They were decimated by Jeht and The Traveler after she's revealed to orchestrate the assassination of The Traveler and Jeht to make them to be "Traitors". Samail and Jebrael were once part of the Tanit desert expeditioners before she's revealed orchestrating their deaths.
Thutmose[]
An Eremite faction currently led by Samail, after Jebrael had a disagreement after his wife killed by Samail out of twisted necessity. They were the devout believers of King Deshret.
Rahman's Faction[]
An Eremite faction led by Rahman who were devout believers of King Deshret and initially despised Greater Lord Rukkhadevata & the forest folk. After realizing the truth behind Greater Lord Rukkhadevata and King Deshret, Rahman's faction abandoned their prejudiced views and assists his old friend, Dehya overthrowing the Grand Sage for fabricating a propaganda.
Corps of Thirty[]
The military peacekeepers in Sumeru City that were tasked to maintain Sumeru's security. However, they were heavily implied persecuting any devout believers of Lesser Lord Kusanali and knows about the suppression of the Amurta and Vahumana Sages for protesting against Azar's orders.
