The Family is a recurring antagonistic organization in Sonic the Comic Online! webcomic series. They are a gang of insects from Special Zone, led by the mysterious Don Long-Legs, who escaped to Mobius prior to their dimension's presumed destruction by the Syndicate after a tip-off by Grimer, and continued their criminal business there.
History[]
Originally, the Family lived and operated in the Special Zone.
Learning that Dr. Zachary's plans would result in the destruction of the Special Zone, Grimer decided to use said predicament for his own ends, warning the Family about their dimension's imminent demise, allowing them and many other insects to migrate to Mobius and settle there. Thanks to their actions, the planet was struck by a massive crime wave.
During the war against the New Robotnik Empire, the Family assisted anti-Robotnik forces in various ways. Their fate following Long-Legs' arrest is unknown.
