The Farmer is the prime villain of the 2008 United Kingdom horror dark black comedy film The Cottage.

He was played by the late actor Dave Legeno.

Biography

David and Peter have kidnapped a young woman named Tracy. However, Tracy manages to escape and brings Peter with herself. The two went outside to find a working phone, which escalated in them meeting the disfigured 2 feet tall farmer. Peter heard noise coming from a secret basement. He opened the door with Tracy. They get greeted by the Farmer, who brutally kills Tracy, and leaves Peter on a meat hook.

David and Andrew (Tracy's brother) together both went looking for their family members. They end up finding the farm. Andrew gets executed instantly by the Farmer, while David manages to survive. Both David and Peter find each other, and decide to look for a nearest phone in the house. However, the farmer finds them both. Farmer kills David. This escalates in Peter losing his mind, taking a rope and killing the farmer. However, by accident, Peter got inside the secret basement. He gets stuck, and finds the whole family of The farmer, getting ready to cannibalize Peter.
