The Four Fangs are supporting antagonists in the first season of the Netflix animated series Blue Eye Samurai. They are a group of four Japanese assassins led by the infamous Chiaki. Famous for their efficiency and ruthless, they were hired by Heiji Shindo to kill the mysterious samurai, Mizu.

Members

• Chiaki: The leader of the Four Fangs called blood-soaked Chiaki. He was killed during a duel with Mizu.
• Three unnamed members: Three assassins working under Chiaki who were each killed by Mizu on a seaside cliff.

History

The Four Fangs origins are unknown, but they made a name for themselves as some of the most dangerous and efficient assassins in Japan. This is why the powerful lord Heiji Shindo hired them to murder a samurai with blue eyes, a job they accepted for a significant amount of money.

They arrived at a tavern where the samurai had apparently been and got a lead. While there, a customer insulted Chiaki, and the Four Fangs killed him. They tracked their prey to Shindo Dojo, where she had apparently severely injured or killed many of the students. After confirming her trail, the Four Fangs set off the kill, having seemingly confirmed her location.

They tracked her to a seaside cliff, where they battled. Although the Four Fangs showed their skill and outnumbered the samurai, she succeeded in killing three of them, before defeating the last one, Chiaki, in single combat.

• In a similar way to the Four White Devils, the Four Fangs come in four since four is considered an unluck number in Japan.
