| “ | Bradley, Bradley, Bradley... My stomach just... Swims when I see you. My favorite, no good son of a bitch. (...) I take it... The Gents didn't make it? Tis alright... I suppose we had it coming. I've been a scoundrel since youth... But you knew that. | „ |
| ~ Chris Columbo's speech. |
The Gents are the secondary antagonistic faction of LISA: The Painful. They are a gang of delinquents that have always been self-described scoundrels since their youth. Their leader is Chris Columbo, and they each abide by his rule.
Appearance[]
Most of the Gents abide by a similar dress code; blood red shawls, with some wearing brown spiked shoulder pads. The exception is Terry, who wears red war paint and keeps his jersey, albeit painted red.
Biography[]
The Gents always antagonized Brad and his friends since his youth. They'd beat up Rick, Sticky, and Cheeks for trivial reasons and Brad would have to stand up for them. The beatings they gave Brad also made his home life worse, as his father, Marty, would only complain about the mess they would leave Brad in rather than trying to resolve the bullying. It can be assumed that for a while after Brad grew up however, that they left him alone up until the White Flash.
Brad's initial first meet-up with the Gents after years of having moved on from them is shortly after his encounter with Sugar Mountain. Brad then finds Sugar Mountain's gang, the Sugar Boy Drifters, all dead most likely having been killed by the Gents. As Brad continues forward, a truck drives into him with Tom Cream at the wheel and Larry Sports hanging out from the back. The gang then surrounds Brad with his newfound companion, Terry Hintz knocked out. Their leader, Chris Columbo, rides in on his pet deer, Spaghetti. The rest of the Gents don't say anything as their boss makes Brad decide between all of his items or Terry Hintz. If Brad gives up Terry Hintz, This will set into motion a special encounter later in the game.
After the Rando Army's blockade is taken out by Buzzo's gang, Brad gives chase in attempt to get Buddy back from Buzzo. However, he's stopped by Chris who taunts him with the mask he made originally to conceal Buddy's identity. Then, if Brad has given up Terry to the Gents by this point, the special encounter previously mentioned will occur as it's soon revealed the Gents, instead of killing Terry, initiated them as a commander in their group. Terry, now titled "Terrible Terry, Lord of The Hurts," will lament Brad's betrayal of him, before attacking Brad's gang and potentially killing some of them. Brad manages to kill Terry however, as shortly after the rest of the Gents will attack Brad. Only Tom Cream is capable of killing anyone from Brad's gang, though the fact alone proves the Gents to be formidable foes along with Larry Sports who consecutively ups his defense and Sergei Rage who goes all out on Brad's gang. Unfortunately for the Gents, Brad overpowers them and their battle ends with each of their inevitable demises. Chris Columbo later admits that they had it coming, though solemnly.
Trivia[]
- Dingaling expected that most players would give Terry to the Gents over Brad's items.
