The Gilgiss (ザ・ギルギス Za Girugisu) is a minor antagonist of Choushinsei Flashman serving as the secondary antagonist of the Episode 12. He was zebra-like Beast Warrior creation at the service of the Reconstructive Experiment Empire Mess.
Biography[]
Gilgiss was created by Dr. Keflen and was then sent to the Earth and was tasked by Emperor Lah Deus to assist Leh Wanda in their mission of destroying Jin, the Red Flash and the leader of the Flashman.
Wanda and Gilgiss attacked Tokyo and started terrorizing and causing rampage and destruction in the town. The Flashman then arrived and started fighting the villains, but unfortunately unsuccessfully. The heroes were eventually beaten by the monstrous duo and even as the Flashman tried to eliminate the Beast Warrior with their Rolling Vulcan, their final attack failed and the monster was left untouched, Wanda protected his ally to allow for Gilgiss to continue to assist him. The Flashman had later several unsuccessful battles with Wanda and his monstrous minion, but Wanda always won by using his superior mutant powers and with the assistance of his monster companion.
Even after finding out the truth of his construction by his master Keflen, Wanda continued to fight on with the Gilgiss until the day of the syncing ended and his ultimate superpowers ceased to exist. Jin again faced and fought Wanda in one-on-one duel in the mountains and finally managed to defeat his archenemy, when Wanda's powers ceased to exist. This event allowed the Flashman to defeat Wanda and eliminate his Beast Warrior with their weapons, and then when Gilgiss was revived and enlarged by Kuragen, he was easily beaten and eliminated as a giant with the Flashman's Flash King Robo.
