The God Shark is a minor antagonist in the anime/manga series Kinnikuman.
He is the Second Guard of Team Soldier who is led by Kinnikuman Soldier, one of the Five Fated Princes who act as the main antagonist force in the Survivor Match for the Kinniku Throne Arc.
Biography[]
Kinnikuman[]
The God Shark is a Brutal Chojin from the Bahamas who was contacted by the God of Brutality and ordered to work alongside Kinnikuman Soldier with the two meeting while The God Shark was in a swimming race against four other Chojin. The God Shark would join Kinnikuman Solider on the spot.
The God Shark would work alongside Kinnikuman Soldier, helping him recruit the other members of Team Solider like Woolman and Bulldozerman.
The God Shark alongside Team Soldier would appear at the sign-ups for the Survivor Match for the Kinniku Throne, once signed up they would travel to the mountains to train.
While in the mountains, the team would be challenged by a mysterious man who was Ataru Kinniku, the biological brother of Kinnikuman. They accepted and were all quickly beaten and killed by him, all of Team Soldier aside from Kinnikuman Soldier himself dying of their injuries in the mountains, their bodies being taken to the nearest hospital by someone who found them.
The God Shark wouldn't be revived either by himself or by one of the Five Evil Gods.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Chojin Physiology: As a Chojin, The God Shark has superhuman strength, speed and durability. Other abilities that Chojin have that The God Shark likely has is the ability to grow to be as large as a building and the ability to fly without wings or thrusters, even in the vacuum of space.
Trivia[]
- Much like the rest of Team Soldier, The God Shark would be one of the few Kinnikuman characters to not be revived after their death, a fate that very few Kinnikuman characters share.
- The God Shark's design, much like most of the designs in the Kinnikuman series, was a fan-submitted design which was sent in by Tsutomu Terada of Mie.
