The High Priestess is one of the secondary antagonists of the 2024 supernatural horror film, Tarot.
She is the anthropomorphic and demonic version of the card, who was called by Elise, unaware that the card is the project of Astrologer curse.
She was portrayed by Lucy Ridley.
Biography[]
In the 18th century, The High Priestess, originally just Tarot card, was contained by Astrologer after she committed suicide to start the curse, so The High Priestess demon spirit was made by Astrologer in the process, who used to kill people to touch the card.
In the Elise's birthday, she picked The High Priestess, which foreshadow Elise's fate soon later.
After returning her home while her friends went back to campus, Elise heard a strange noise and Astrologer's movement on the attic, when she obey the rule that everyone do not touch the Tarot cards, the demonic of The High Priestess appears to led Elise fall from the ladder. Elise tried to call Paige for help, but she was finally crushed to death by The High Priestess.
Afterward, after Haley make all of Tarot card and the Astrologer to disappear, The High Priestess soul, among with all of Tarot cards - were destroyed, thus ending her reign of terror once and for all.
