The Hole is an assumed main antagonist of the indie horror game Feed Me Billy. It is a large sentient hole that resides in the closet of Billy, a disturbed man who is forced by the Hole to go out and kill people so their bodies can be fed to satisfy its hunger.

Biography[]

Throughout the course of the game, it appears in Billy's closet and demands him to be fed. Its origins and reasoning are unknown, however, two main theories are possible: it might just be a symbolic representation of protagonist's thirst for murder or an actual creature that has taken hold of Billy's life after he had joined a religious cult, with the possibility of it being some kind of a twisted god that they worship, since the caller, in the beginning, mentions a "father" and his "visions". Another theory suggests that the cult is real, but the Hole is still a figment of Billy's sick imagination or an aforementioned vision sent by the deity and that the protagonist devours corpses himself.

The creature manifests itself only at night, taking up an entire room with the constant throbbing and constricting walls of flesh. The Hole possesses a set of massive sharp teeth and makes otherworldly high-pitched noises, unheard from any other living organism. It is unaffected by the shots from Billy's revolver and is able to communicate with him without using any known language, suggesting psychic powers. After Billy manages to feed it 6 dead bodies, a what seems to be a goat made entirely from red flesh emerges from it while making loud shrieks and wheezes.
