The Hoppers are the main antagonists of The Hillbilly Bears series. They are a family next door to the Ruggs and who are always fighting with them.
Personality[]
Almost every member of the family (except Claude) is mean to the Ruggs and always wanting to fight them. Like the Ruggs, almost every member of the family owns firearms, which they use to keep firing from afar at the Ruggs' home, especially the family's father, Paw, who is always in a shootout against the Ruggs during his free time. . Sometimes they try to get along with the Ruggs and end the fight between families, but something always impedes the friendship between them, like the time when Grandpa Rugg came to visit and kept bothering them, making the fight between the two families start again.

Paw Hopper[]
He is the father of the family, and is always in a shootout against Paw Rugg, the father of the rival family. He is loyal to his family and will not allow anyone to do them any harm. Over the course of the series he has had several different designs.
Maw Hopper[]
She is the mother of the family, not much is known about her, except that she also hates the Ruggs and will always help her husband against them when necessary.
Claude Hopper[]
He is the eldest son of the family, he is the only one in the family who doesn't seem to hate the Ruggs, he is also in a relationship with the Ruggs' daughter and from time to time he goes to visit her, much to her father's anger.
Junior Hopper[]
He's the youngest child in the family, he's a nasty, bully boy who occasionally gets into a fight with the Ruggs' son, and whenever someone from the rival family does something to him, he'll immediately let his father know.
