The Huntress is a major antagonist in the first segment of the 2022 action-adventure video game God of War Ragnarök, and a minor antagonist in the overall game. She is the centaur responsible for breaking Kratos' shield, and is the first of many Stalkers that Kratos and Atreus would face over the course of the game.
Biography[]
The Huntress first makes her appearance using a harpoon to pull Kratos off a cliff he was climbing and fighting him and Atreus, serving as one of the first main bosses. During their battle, she breaks his shield, an act that causes him much anger, as the shield is quite important to him. As a result, Kratos fights and slaughters the Huntress, grabbing her bow and ramming it through her body, before twisting it sideways while she was on the ground to snap her spine.
Appearance[]
The Huntress is a centaur with glowing horns that act as her weak spot. She has vitiligo, which results in her skin being both dark and light with patches. She is most likely a hybrid creature.
Personality[]
The Huntress is brutal, ruthless, and savage. Unlike the Untamed Fury, a separate stalker found later in the game, Kratos holds no respect for this one, most likely because he is too angry at the fact that the Huntress busted his shield.
