The Infected (formerly known as the Monsters) are the main antagonistic faction of the Roblox horror game Piggy. They're also playable monsters in infection mode They are main various citizens of Lucella that have either been in direct contact with Substance - 128 (The Infection) or have been infected by other infected citizens. They later become monstrous like creatures infected and akin to zombies.
Appearance[]
They are the civilians of Lucella who look the same as they were before they became infected, however their pupils change color and they equip various types of weapons. in only official but not Roblox they only have five fingers
Personality[]
Infected are hostile and dangerous. They act hostile when they are near any people that aren't infected and try to infect them showing them having a strong aggressive side to them due to Substance-128.

Backstory[]
The Infection didn't actually start until when local billionaire Mr. P's wife, Mrs. P, was sick had been diagnosed with a rare disease called Linaeomma which had no cure for it. Because of this, Mr. P spent most of his life trying to find a supposed cure for the sickness. This caused him to rush the doctors. While they kept telling him that the samples were still unstable, Mr. P wouldn't listen and searched for volunteers. The Piggy Family (excluding Georgie) offered to help him. After testing the supposed cure, the whole family became stronger, so Mr. P gave it to Mrs. P immediately. Mrs. P was getting better, until she and Mr. P heard news that Piggy family started becoming aggressive and hostile. Mr. P shrugged it off, thinking that it had nothing to do with his cure, but then, Mrs. P started becoming aggressive too, and her eyes became red. Mr. P knew that he had to stop her, but didn't have a heart to do it, so he let her go. He then funded the hospital to develop a cure for this new virus.

Trivia[]
- The Infected are twisted monstrous parody of Peppa Pig characters, however, this was later changed due to copyright reasons.
- The infected can't talk. This was revealed for the first time in Chapter 8 - Carnival when Pony asks Zizzy whether or not the Player is infected, whereupon Zizzy reminds him that the infected can't talk.
- Robby does not count as infected because he is a robot, and as confirmed in Docks, robots like Robby cannot get infected.
- This also goes for Duocara as well.
- There is a common misconception that the infected are dead. The infected, however, are not actually dead, but are in control of their brain, just not their body, as confirmed on Teacher's chalkboard in School.
- Additionally, MiniToon himself confirmed that the infected are not doomed.
- Most of the infected are either a primary or secondary bot of each chapter respectively. Despite this, there are some chapters where the infected don't show up at all during the gameplay, such as Alleys, Refinery, Heist, Breakout and Mansion.
- Alleys, Heist, Breakout and Mansion being because they occurred before the infection, and Refinery as it's an abandoned settlement which T.S.P acquired.
- During one of MiniToon's streams, he made a joke about Tim which led him to say that he's infected and probably doesn't feel pain, this might mean that the infected don't feel pain, although it's possible that it was just a joke.
