The Ink, also known as the Dark Puddles, is a supporting character in the Bendy franchise and a major antagonist in the Dreams Come to Life and The Lost Ones novels.
It is a living organism created by the Ink Machine after regular ink was run through it, resulting in the ink gaining sentience. After this, it would be used for creating the other ink creatures and the ink itself would also search around for other beings to kill or infect and transform.
