The Jackals
The Jackals are the secondary antagonists in the animated movie The Adventures Of The American Rabbit. They are Vultor's henchmen who ride on motorcycles and also terrorize and torture innocent animals just for fun.
Biography[]
The Jackals first appeared when they picked on Rob. While Rob got a new job at the Pandamoniun, the Jackals barged in and offered an insurance policy for Teddy, but he refused. Then on the night of the Pandamonium, the Jackals attacked, destroying chairs, glasses, and everything else inside the Pandamonium (although Rob was not aware of this due to the distraction of playing his piano along with the White Bros Band), much to the dismay of all the people, Teddy, and Bunny O’Hare. The Jackals then reported to their boss named Vultor, who scolds them despite being successful at destroying the Pandamonium. Vultor orders the Jackals to arrive at the rear end of the rally parade performed by Bunny and Teddy. Once at the rear end of the bridge, they frighten the citizens at the rear end, but once left after the American Rabbit saved everyone from falling off the Sam Francisco by repairing it after Vultor broke it.
Angered by this failure, Vultor and the Jackals vow to destroy the American Rabbit. They lure a gorilla named Ping-Pong and trick him into signing the going away party by Teddy, Rob, Bunny, and the White Bros., which one of the Jackals used a syringe dart, putting Ping-Pong to sleep and kidnapping him.
The Jackals poured gasoline on a ship and burned the ship. Luckily, the American Rabbit and his friends escaped before the ship explodes. The American Rabbit spies on the villains and overhears their next plans to take over New York to force the Chocolate Moose to sell their chocolate. Then, the American Rabbit reverted back to his mild-mannered alter-ego, Rob, and warns his friends that Vultor and the Jackals are going to take over New York, then they all set fourth to stop the villains.
When the Jackals and their boss, Vultor, arrived in New York, they kidnapped the Chocolate Moose and his son. The villainous gang wanted to sell chocolate with everybody, but the townspeople refused and eventually turned against the Jackals by cat calls and jeers, and they were also confronted by Rob’s gang, with Teddy threatening to hurt them if they didn’t free the Chocolate moose. Vultor angrilly curses the Jackals and dismisses them as traitors. It is assumed they were currently fired for not obeying Vultor, and it is also assumed they were casted out of New York, too as well as they never bothered the citizens again.
