The Janitor is the secondary antagonist of the 2017 indie video game Kindergarten, and a major antagonist of its 2019 sequel Kindergarten 2. He is a nameless janitor with psychopathic tendencies, yet is kept around by both principals.

Biography[]

The Janitor doesn't have his own mission in the first game. During some of the students missions, if he finds the Protagonist in his closet, or he gets under his skin, he will impale the Protagonist with his mop several times. When talked to in the bathroom, he can get the Protagonist a cheaper chocolate bar in the cafeteria for a nickel. He assists the Principal in his schemes, disposing the bodies of the abominations the man makes. If the player tells Cindy that he used her dog to make his "Biscut Balls", she kills him by ripping his head off and biting his ear off too.

In the second game in the series, he gains his own mission, having the player kill the other janitor, Bob. In the endings the player gets for collecting all the Monstermon cards for both games, he is killed by Nugget's black magic.

Personality[]

The Janitor is very cold-hearted and psychopathic. He is very easily angered and even kills little children who annoy him. The game's dialogue indicates that he has a history of killing children.

Besides his cruelty towards children, he also seems to be quite cruel towards animals as well, as he killed Cindy's dog, Biscuit and made its meat the "secret ingredient" of his "Biscut Balls". He also acts highly aggressive towards people who try to correct him such as when he crippled Monty for correcting the spelling of his sign, as well as to people who enter his closet.

Along with this, he's rude to adults, calling Mrs. Applegate names like "Mrs. Jigglytits". Despite his bloody ferocity, he will not try to attack Agnes, as he considers tangling with a "dumpster hag" a terrible idea, saying its a mistake you only make once.

Trivia[]

  • The Janitor is a veteran from a supposedly grand war. His reason given for why it's "The Great One" because he fought in it.
  • The Janitor calls his mop "Mr. Sweepy".
  • The Janitor has a son who he gave away.
    • This has led some to speculate that his son may actually be Nugget.
