The King and Queen are the overarching antagonists of the Disney book As Old As Time: A Twisted Tale. They ruled their kingdom with discrimination against those called "les charmentes" and raised their son, the Prince, with such intolerance.
As Old As Time: A Twisted Tale[]
The King and Queen did not do a good job at ruling their kingdom and, as such, let all the chaos against magic-users continue. When Rosalind (the Enchantress; also Belle's mother) came to visit them, they were cold toward her, however, they requested her help later.
The former rulers later died of the plague.
Trivia[]
The King and Queen are the greater-scope villains of the book, since they ruled their kingdom in a tyrannical way, and corrupted their son in such fashion, allowing Rosalind to curse him to bring out the best in him.
