Burong Sukapat or The Krasue is a killer in Dead by Daylight. Before becoming The Krasue, she was a struggling opera singer desperate for fame. After drinking a mysterious potion offered by a rival, Burong gained a powerful voice but began transforming into a grotesque creature. Her beauty masked a curse that turned her into a floating head with dangling viscera, feeding on carrion and trash by night.

She is voiced by opera singer Fueanglada Prawang Carlson in her Body Form and Roxana B.L. in her Head Form.

Biography[]

Burong was a struggling opera singer whose, despite all her hard work, seemed doomed to fail. One day her friend Janjira introduced her to successful singer Malai who gave Burong a clear liquid in a bottle, telling her if she drank it, another would inhabit her body when night falls, but she will become successful in her career. Without hesitation, Burong drank the liquid, not knowing she was, in truth, making the worst decision of her life.

Burong's career soared to new heights and she rose to fame. However after thanking a director, she coughed up blood but chose to ignore it and continue as if nothing happened. Later that night she woke up in someone's yard, covered in blood, next a destroyed chicken coop and several mutilated chicken corpses, but the worst was yet to come.

Burong then called Janjira, under the guise that she'd been sleepwalking, only to wake up the next morning with only Janjira's severed hand and disemboweled carcass left. In a rage, Burong found Malai who revealed that she had passed a curse onto her, believing that Burong's desire for fame could help her withstand the curse's torment. Burong's anger awakened the beast within her, as she then proceeded to tear Malai to pieces leaving only her hair, blood, and bones left behind. Burong's career continued to thrive as she kept the beast within her fed once night fell; however, everything changed once a dark fog appeared around her one night.

Powers and Abilities[]

The Krasue possessed incredible speed and strength as with any other killer, but her main skill comes from her ability to split her head and organs from the rest of her body, giving her even more increased speed and she is even able to damage and grab with her intestines.

Quotes[]

  • Are you there?”
  • My hand will be gentle.”
  • To float on the breeze.”
  • Friends, do not fear.”
  • “My heart opens.”

Trivia[]

  • She is based on the real spirit of the same name from Southeast Asian folklore.
