The Ladykillers are the titular main antagonists of the 1955 black comedy film of the same name and its 2004 remake. Despite the change in rosters, the plot is the same about a quintet of robbers trying to pull of a heist with the unwitting help of a scatterbrained old lady, only for her to cotton on to the plot and become a liability. They try to kill her, only for some to chicken out or develop a soft spot for her.
