| ~ The Lustful Nobleman's only known word when chasing and trying to molest Casca. |
The Lustful Nobleman is minor antagonist in Berserk, he was a man of high status that presumably lived in an unnamed region of Midland that was close to the border of a unnamed country, but which is assumed to be the Kushan Empire. He once laid his eyes on a twelve year old Casca and wanted to have her as his "maid", but secretly had very disturbed intentions for her in mind.
Appearance[]
The nobleman appeared to be an older man with long, grey hair, a slender body, and noticeable wrinkles along his mouth and eyes. He wears typical noble garments, with a brown cape and large brown boots. He also wore a big hat while on his horse.
Personality[]
The nobleman appeared to be a silent man that was never once seen speaking. His actions however, speaks how he was as a person.
The nobleman was a deeply disturbed and perverted man that had lustful intentions towards the young Casca and had no issue abusing his power to get what he wanted. He was also seemingly a sadist, smiling as he takes advantage of the young girl.
He presumably also thought lowly of the subjects living among him, as he had his own castle, whereas the normal townspeople were forced to starve because the lack of food, showing his selfish nature and lack of care for others.
It's implied that Casca was not his first (or at least, attempted) victim, since it's implied that he did the same things with many other girls who caught his fancy, and since there was not even a single word heard from them, it's implied that he killed his previous "maids" once he's done having his way with them.
Biography[]
The nobleman was born as a member of the nobility class and had great advantages in his life, never having to worry about food and living in a safe and secure castle.
Later in his life, he came across the young Casca while riding through her village. He went to Casca's parents telling them that plans on using Casca as a castle maid with her father reluctantly agreeing to this offer. While they were in the carriage heading towards the castle, the nobleman revealed his true intentions, launching forwards and pinned Casca against the wall so he could rape her. Casca was able to escape and tried to run away, but the man caught up to her and held her against the ground. He tore open her clothes, but as he was about to commit the deed, a sudden sword strike sliced his ear off.
As he and Casca looked up, there was a man on a horse holding a sword to the nobleman. He threw his sword at Casca, telling her that if she had something to protect, she had to take up arms. Casca notices that the nobleman was trying to grab the sword, which causes Casca to quickly take it. As the nobleman launches at her and pinned her down once again, Casca fatally impaled him through his chest with her blade.
