The Metagas is a minor antagonist of Choushinsei Flashman, serving as the primary antagonist of the Episode 36. He was a plant/crab/slug-like Beast Warrior creation at the service of the Reconstructive Experiment Empire Mess.
Biography[]
The Metagas was created by Dr. Keflen on the orders of Emperor Lah Deus like his fellow Beast Warrior comrades A plant/crab/slug-like Beast Warrior that was utilized by Sir Cowler with the assistance of the other Mess forces, he was going behind the back of Doctor Keflen in the process. The Beast Warrior's body was comprised of many smaller slugs, which were separated off and used by the Mess generals, who pretended to be humans, in a scheme to make children buy them making them believe that the slugs could create gold by eating various metals. However, the slugs created from the metal, not gold but a gas that had various properties, including being combustible and the ability to melt other metals.
Jin discovered this as he tried to help a boy hoping to use the special slug to buy a violin for a girl he liked, yet the boy nearly gets killed when it melted a pole he was standing under. The Beast Warrior later attacked the Flashman and the monster was eventually stunned by the Super Spear before being destroyed by the Flashmen's Rolling Vulcan. Later, after Kuragen rebuilt and enlarged Metagas, the beast was ultimately destroyed by the Great Titan Robo.
