The Real Ai or Ai Otori is one of the main antagonists of Yumeutsutsu Re:Master, serving as the main antagonist of Kokoro's route. She is the soul of Ai Otori who has been transported alongside Kokoro to NieMajo's world 3 years priors to the event of the game. The two lived here together while Nie and Majo lived in the real world without their memories. Once she discovers that Nie and Majo try to come back to their world, she tries to stop them.
She is voiced by Maya Yoshioka.

Like her counterpart in the real world, Ai has long brown hair and blue eyes. She wears a pink shirt and a green skirt with flower patterns.
Personality[]
In contrast to Ai Otori in the real world, The Real Ai while still acting kindly is more selfish, as she tries to stop Nie and Majo to come back to their world because she wants to stay there alone with Kokoro. Despite that however, she is ready to make sacrifices for Kokoro's happiness, as when she learned that Kokoro wanted to come back with her in the real world, Ai accepted to come back with her and to help Nie and Majo to come back to their world.
Biography[]
Ai and her sister Kokoro were very close, to the point that they felt love for each other. Due to her love of Kokoro being strong, both Ai and Kokoro's souls were transported to the world of NieMajo, a game created by Eureka Software. It also caused Nie and Majo's souls to be transferred in Ai and Kokoro's body in the real world both Ai and Kokoro's memory while losing their originals one. For many years, Ai and Kokoro live in this world while Nie and Majo live as Ai and Kokoro in the real world without knowing their true identity. Kokoro in the real world felt that Ai's kiss was different from usual and thinking that the Ai she kissed wasn't the usual Ai, she decided to leave her.
When Ai learns that Nie and Majo tries change NieMajo's ending to come back to their world, she decides to stop them. For that she asks Kokoro to send many mails with her magic to Nie and Majo to tell them to stop the game while threatening them that there will be consequence if they refuse. However, that didn't stop them, so she caused many events that she called curses to scare them and threatening to do worse if they continued.
Upon seeing that they didn't stop the game despite her warnings, Ai sends many mails to Majo to convince her to stay and live in the real world with Nie by using her love for her which works. After that, Majo convince as well, however, not wanting to give up, convinces Majo to continue despite the difficulties.
Eventually, Ai discovers that Kokoro was manipulating her to not go along with her original plan and instead being soft with Nie and Majo so that the latters would succeed to finish the game, as Kokoro unlike Ai wanted to come back to the real world with her. Ai wanting Kokoro's happiness decides to change her plans and instead decides to help Nie and Majo to finish the game. She notably sends a drawing of the place of promise that serves to help Marie to draw it.
After Nie and Majo meet her to their world, Ai explains everything to them before returning to her world in Kokoro. Once she comes back, her and Kokoro lose their memories from NieMajo's world and instead gain the one from their bodies in the real world.
