The Resistance are the secondary antagonists of Season 1 of the Dan the Man web series and its video game adaptation.
They are a group of ninja-like warriors that oppose the Guards rule over the town and seek to overthrow them. Despite opposing the main antagonists of the series, they are often enemies of the main characters as they will oppose or aid them should it prove beneficial.
Biography[]
Story[]
The Resistance members are first appeared in the first stage as the antagonists. They kidnapped the Princess and imprisoned them in a castle. Dan beats three ninja rebels and destroys a robot to save the princess.
In the second stage, after Dan and Josie are stuck over the sky, the ninja rebels come with jetpacks and open a shootout against them and makes Dan falling down. Josie beats one of the ninjas and takes his jetpack, saves Dan. Dan takes one of the ninja's AK-47 and shoots at the rest of ninjas until one of the ninjas shoots them with a rocket launcher. After they hit by the rocket, their jetpack is destroyed and Dan and Josie starts to fall down, into the lava. When they are about to falling into the lava, they hug and Dan declares his love to Josie, and the lava turned into a pool of the hearts, and the two are saved.
After fifth stage, the Resistance's actions turned heroic. After they learned the Town's power source, they ambushed the guards and rescued the baby dragon. After the baby dragon is saved, he takes Josie and Dan and the ninja rebels hail them.
In seventh stage, the ninja rebels are seen underground, while creating a robot, preparing the war against the guards. While they're preparing, one of the ninjas get a message from the redeemed guard, and after they got the message, they started to the protest the guards. An army of the ninjas assemble in front of the fortress, after some peasants are killed by the guards. While the ninjas and the peasants are obstinate with each other about war or peace, Dan comes and chooses war.
In eighth stage, the ninja rebels partially destroy the fortress and dominate the guards, and catch the King. One of the Resistances plays the heavy and suddenly killed the King, takes his crown and goes to find the chief executive. The Geezer tried to stop him, but he takes the pistol and kills him.
Series Ending[]
Dan goes to the roof and confronts the Chief Executive, while holding Josie as hostage. Some time later, Josie tries to get rid of him and starts to hit her, and while Dan is going for help, the 'king' comes and kills the three by shooting them. Later, throws his gun down and tears his clothes, and starts to scream. While he is screaming, the bald Geezer comes and shoots at him repeatedly. But the king doesn't die and takes the detonator, destroys the entire fortress with himself.
Game Ending[]
The player goes to the roof and encounters the Chief Executive while holding the Geezer as hostage, and Dan/Josie, while aiming at the Chief Executive. While they are yelling at the each other, the 'king' comes and kills the two, and the bald Geezer, and does his symbolic hail. The player attempts to beat him, but he dodges the attacks and tear the clothes, and starts to scream. Later, jumps down and takes the gigantic robot, attempts to kill the player. But the player manages to destroy the robot, and the king takes the detonator and destroys the fortress.

All of the ninja rebels are unnamed and stays unclear. But there is a named female member, although she is not a villain.
- Ana: She is one of the members. She is a waitress. She helps Resistance to rescue the dragon, however, she is killed by the Dark Master.
Robots[]
Robots are the bosses that created by them. There are two robots that appeared.
- The first robot is appeared in the first stage, it protects the Princess' castle for imprisoning her.
- The second robot is appeared as the final boss in the game's final stage. It can create electric balls and rockets. It is controlled by the King Resistance. However, it is destroyed.
