The Saizar (ザ・サイザー Za Saizā) is a minor antagonist of Choushinsei Sentai Flashman, appearing in the Episode 6 as the primary antagonist. He is dinosaur-like with pipes Beast Warrior creation of the Reconstructive Experiment Empire Mess. He possessed a flute like object at the end of his tail and unique ability to to manipulate and control the genetics of anything that is within reach of its sound. He was then sent by Great Emperor Lah Deus to attack and subjugate the Earth and destroy the Flashmen, the Mess Empire's archenemies.
Just like most of Mess Empire's monster, Saizar didn't have a voice actor, because he had no ability to talk.
Biography[]
The weakness of the sound was another sound resonates and prevents its own sound from gaining access to its target; the sound turning out to be the engine roars of the Flash Hawks used by the Flashman. Suddenly, Saizer started feeling a headache and becomes incapacitated just before the Flashmen's arrival. Köpflen, deducing they have something to do with the monster's breakdown, ordered Clone Ships to attack the perceived source of the problem. One by one, the Flashmen are shot down, as Nefel and Saizer resume their attack.
Mag tries to contact the team, to no avail - they are all gravely injured, and their Flash Hawks, damaged beyond repair. Jin's, however, keeps its engine running for a while, as if it asked him to take him along. A puzzled Mag decides to check whether it has anything to do with the monster's breakdown, when Jin is accosted by Nefel, Wolk, Kilt and a handful of Zolors.
Mag found out that the noise of the Flash Hawk's engine interfered with Saizer's mental waves, affecting its plant life controlling ability, and ordered Jin to stand by as spare parts are sent. However, on his way, the Clone Ships shot the Star Condor down and, having to travel the rest of the path by foot, Mag was seized by Saizer's vines, and Nefel throws the parts away.
Though Köpflen used Mess' battle vehicles to destroy the Flash Hawks, the team worked together to rebuild Jin's Flash Hawk Mecha to allow the Red Flash fight and defeat the Saizar.
When Jin lost contact with Mag, Dai showed up with his own damaged Flash Hawk, offering any good parts in it that Jin could use. The Zolors soon catched up to them, and Dai volunteered to fight them off as Jin got away. He later crossed paths with Bun, and then with the girls, with the same result. When the last parts were traded, Jin's Flash Hawk is fixed, and he rides after the monster, transformed, freeing Mag just before Nefel can take over the Star Condor, and the regrouped team teakes on the Mess forces.
Even though Saizer managed to bring the other four down, Red Flash used his Prism Seiken to cut off its tail, nullifying its ability and allowing the team to destroy the momster with the Rolling Vulcan. After being rebuilt and grown by Kuragen, Flash King ended up using the Beast Warrior's tail flute itself to trap it with vines before destroying it with Super Cosmo Flash.
